Dancing House Prague
On the corner of Resslova and Rasinovo nabrezi, in the Nove Mestro District of Prague, stands Frank Gehry's Dancing House. Unveiled in 1996, the house has been the subject of many arguments ever since as to whether it is a beautiful feat of architectural brilliance or a downright eyesore. Either way, this unusual building is worth taking a look at, and then you can make the decision for yourself.

Construction began on the building in 1992, and its design by Gehry was inspired by the dancing team of Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers. Gehry affectionately referred to the house as Fred and Ginger, a name which many of Prague's locals have taken to using.

These warped corner buildings stand out immensely next to the classic architecture that lines the street, making them extremely hard to miss. La Pearle de Prague, one of the city's most popular restaurants, is located inside on the top floor, giving visitors the perfect excuse to go in and take a look. The interior of the building is as interesting as the exterior, and the view from the restaurant's windows and outside terrace is spectacular.
