Hotel Description

The Best Western Meteor Plaza is a deluxe hotel located in the historical and business centre of Prague, adjacent to Hibernia Palace, the Powder Gate and the Municipal House. Ideally located, the hotel dates back beyond the year 1307, when the earliest recorded historical references to this building were made. Originally known as the "White Lion", the hotel was a retreat for late evening guests who arrived after the town gates had closed. When guests sit in the basement level "Gothic Wine Bar, they can still admire the arched ceilings that date back to 14th century Prague. The hotel has since hosted royalty and it became a much- frequented spot in the 19th century. Today, guests at this hotel will enjoy all the comforts of the 21st century.
